What They Do

Glaziers work with glass in both new construction and renovation projects, installing windows, storefront systems, skylights, shower enclosures, mirrors, and glass partitions. They spend their days measuring openings, cutting glass to precise specifications, and securing panes using glazing compounds, putty, screws, or metal clips. Much of their work involves commercial buildings where they create striking glass facades and display cases, though residential projects include everything from standard windows to custom shower doors and decorative glass features.
