What They Do

Management analysts examine how organizations operate and identify ways to make them more efficient and profitable. They spend their days collecting and analyzing data about business processes, interviewing employees at all levels, and observing daily operations to understand where problems exist. They review financial statements, organizational charts, and workflow patterns to pinpoint inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Much of their work involves creating detailed reports and presentations that explain their findings and recommendations to executives and managers.
