Microbiologists

Microbiologists spend their days studying microscopic organisms that are invisible to the naked eye, working to understand how bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other tiny life forms behave and interact with their environments. They conduct experiments in laboratories, preparing samples, using powerful microscopes, and operating specialized equipment to observe and analyze microbial growth patterns. Much of their time involves culturing microorganisms in petri dishes, monitoring their development under different conditions, and documenting their findings through detailed notes and computer databases.
