What They Do

Real estate brokers oversee property transactions and manage the complex process of buying, selling, and leasing residential or commercial properties. On a typical day, they meet with clients to understand their needs, whether that's finding a dream home or securing an investment property. They evaluate market conditions, determine competitive pricing, and develop marketing strategies to attract buyers or tenants. Brokers coordinate property showings, negotiate offers and counteroffers, and guide clients through inspections, appraisals, and closing procedures. They often supervise other real estate agents, reviewing their contracts and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.
