What They Do

Web administrators keep websites running smoothly and securely behind the scenes. They monitor server performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that web pages load quickly and reliably for users. On any given day, they might update content management systems, install security patches, back up website data, or fix broken links and error messages. They work closely with web developers and designers to deploy new features or pages, testing everything thoroughly before it goes live to catch potential problems.
