Parts Salespersons

Parts salespersons work directly with customers to identify, locate, and sell the specific components needed for vehicle repairs, machinery maintenance, or equipment servicing. They spend their days behind the counter in automotive dealerships, independent parts stores, or industrial supply shops, using computer systems and catalogs to find exact part numbers and check inventory availability. Much of their time involves asking detailed questions to determine which part a customer needs—whether it's a brake pad for a specific car model, a hydraulic fitting for construction equipment, or a replacement motor for appliances.
